Escape to a one-of-a-kind, cozy retreat sitting on 6 acres of wood with 2 ponds on the property just 1 mile south of McArthur on Route 93. This 2-person cabin includes a private hot tub for post-adventure relaxation, a fire pit area and dome igloo tent on the property for cozy chats or quiet mornings. Enjoy catch and release fishing in our ponds, then lounge on the front porch under the stars as the fountain provides a calming soundtrack. Hot water, reliable heat, and all the comforts of home in a serene setting.

Must visit spots

We are just 16 miles from many popular hiking trails (Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave) & the Hocking Hills State Park. We are located just 5 miles from the Richland State Forest public ATV trails. So bring your 4 wheelers for even more fun! The cabin is 10 miles from the beautiful Zaleski State forest and for adventurous hikers, the eerie Moonville Tunnel, located 14 miles from the cabin.

Lake Rupert and Lake Alma are both around 10 minutes away from the cabin. Lake Rupert is mainly known for recreational activities such as bank and boat fishing, but be aware that they have no boat rentals there. Lake Alma includes a public swimming beach, sports areas, and picnic areas. Lake Alma does offer boat and kayak rentals for those wanting water activities.

– A coffee machine with complimentary coffee is available for use. There is a toaster, microwave and air fryer available.

– A solo stove fire pit for cozy campfires. We can provide firewood for a fee.

– Unique dome igloo tent for cozy chats, games, or quiet mornings

– Easy access to dining, groceries, and local attractions

– Our smart TV includes streaming apps, but please use your own accounts and log out afterwards.

-Hunting is never permitted on our property.

-No pet policy. We love pets and understand how important they can be for many travelers. However, for safety, allergy considerations, and to protect our property, we do not allow any pets on the premises.

-No smoking or vaping is allowed inside our cabin. This rule covers cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and cannabis. A $250 odor/cleaning fee may apply, and the stay can be terminated immediately without refund if smoking or vaping is detected. Please respect our policy to ensure a comfortable space for everyone.
